Anybody know where I can get free compost worms?

I am starting a vermicompost bin at home. Can buy 1lb of the proper worms for $20 to $30, but if anyone has an established bin and is willing to donate a starter batch let me know. Once I have mine up and running I'll be happy to pay-it-forward.
